ISIEINDIA Inaugurated Center of Excellence for E- Mobility at ASAP CSP - Kunnamthanam
The Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIEINDIA), in collaboration with the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala, has inaugurated its Centre of Excellence for E-Mobility, Research, and Skill Development at ASAP CSP – Kunnamthanam in support with MG Motors and Hero Electric.
The inauguration ceremony was held on 26th April 2023, and was graced by the presence of Dr. R. Bindu, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice, Government of Kerala, along with other dignitaries like Shri. Anto Antony (Member of Parliament), Adv. Mathew T Thomas (Member of Legislative Assembly), Dr. Usha Titus IAS (CMD ASAP Kerala), Sri. K Gopalakrishnan IAS (Director SC Department), Mr. Vinod Kumar Gupta (Founder & CEO, ISIEINDIA), and Mr. Sameer Jindal (Technical Director VAVE and MG Nurture).
The Center of Excellence for E-Mobility, Research, and Skill Development aims to promote research and development in the field of electric vehicles and create skilled professionals in the industry. The center will provide hands-on training to students and professionals in the area of electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, battery management, and motor design.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. R. Bindu, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice, Government of Kerala, said, “The government of Kerala is committed to promoting sustainable development in the state, and the Centre of Excellence for E-Mobility, Research, and Skill Development is a step towards achieving this goal. The center will provide the necessary skills and knowledge to the youth of the state, making them job-ready and contributing to the growth of the electric vehicle industry.”
Dr. Usha Titus IAS, CMD ASAP Kerala, said, “We are happy to be associated with ISIEINDIA in this initiative. The Centre of Excellence for E-Mobility, Research, and Skill Development will provide an excellent platform for the youth of the state to enhance their skills and become industry-ready
Mr. Vinod Kumar Gupta, Founder & CEO, ISIEINDIA, said, “We are delighted to launch the Centre of Excellence for E-Mobility, Research, and Skill Development in collaboration with ASAP Kerala. Our aim is to create a pool of skilled professionals who can contribute to the growth of the electric vehicle industry in the country.”
Mr. Sameer Jindal, Technical Director VAVE and MG Nurture, said, We are happy to be associated with ISIEINDIA and a ASAP Kerala, in this initiative MG Motors will provide MG Vehicles for upcoming COE’s and will jointly run various certification programs for the youth of Kerala and will provide the opportunities in terms of employment.
The Center of Excellence for E-Mobility, Research, and Skill Development is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a laboratory for battery testing and evaluation, a motor testing facility, and a charging infrastructure testing facility.
The collaboration between ISIEINDIA and ASAP Kerala is a significant step towards promoting sustainable development in the state and creating skilled professionals in the electric vehicle industry.
