ISIEINDIA – Centre of Excellence for E – Mobility, Research and Skill Development, is a unique facility completely designed and developed by ISIEINDIA. These centers aim to advance technology, address challenges, and promote the adoption of electric vehicles by conducting research, providing expertise, and fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders. They play a crucial role in accelerating the growth and sustainability of electric mobility.

Excellence is a quality that people really appreciate, because it's so hard to find. The vision of preparing a workforce of skilled professional and providing excellence to them is one of the aims that ISIEINDIA is working at from past 10 years. This Centre of Excellence we are setting up and aiming to establish 150+ COEs by 2025 across the nation in Top Academic Institutions, Govt. Skill Sectors and NGOs - Education etc.

What is Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicle and why it is important?

The centre of excellence for EV is a set up of a EV workbenches to provide training on Battery, Motor, Controller, Chassis, BMS, Chargers, V2G System, Retrofitting to meet industry requirement of skilled workforce.

Nowadays, Industries are looking for a skilled people in EV and to equip the learners with industry required skills sets to enhance the capacity and capability, Industries, Institutes, NGO’s and Skill sectors need a setup to cater the knowledge. The centre of excellence is having 6 different labs and variety of experimental setups

The Lab Includes – Battery, BMS Training and Research Lab, EV Charging & Battery Swapping Lab, Software Modeling & Simulation Lab, Innovation Lab and, Renewable Energy Lab

Each lab is consists of numbers of customized workbenches and machineries. Few of them includes, EV Drive train Experimental setup & Motor Testing Workbench, Hybrid Drive train Experimental Setup with Data Logger, EV Machine Cut out Section Workbench, 2 – W, 3 – W, 4 – Wheeler Training Setup, Battery Load Capacity Testing, Battery BMS with CAN Protocols Workbench, V2G Setup, On/Off Grid Charging Station, Battery Swapping, Autonomous Vehicle Training Workbench, Solar Power Generator and Software Solution and many more.

How Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicle will help for research, prototyping and experiments?

The facility itself have a capability for research, prototyping and experiments. One can use the setup to perform various experiments and prototyping such as Battery Pack Design and Assembly, Motor Overhauling, Retrofitting, EV Assembly and along with these would be able to work on research projects using various workbenches.

Details about utilization of Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicle?

The centre of excellence will be utilized for Skilling the Underprivilege, Dropouts, Women’s, Roadside Mechanics, Re-Skilling the Engineering Graduates, Polytechnics and Up-Skilling the Industry Professionals, R&D Engineers.

This Centre will also utilized for Startup Support, R&D in EV Space, Consultancy projects etc.
