Michelin Conducts Tyre Technology Session for EV Shiksha Program at MIT
Industry-led initiative strengthening practical understanding of tyre technology in electric mobility.

An insightful and industry-driven session on Tyre Technology was conducted by the Michelin team at MIT for candidates enrolled in the EV Shiksha Program. The session focused on enhancing practical knowledge of a critical component in electric mobility.

The interactive engagement provided in-depth exposure to tyre design principles, performance parameters, safety aspects, and the role of advanced tyre technologies in improving electric vehicle efficiency, durability, and sustainability. Real-world use cases and industry best practices were shared to help participants understand the direct impact of tyres on EV performance.

Industry–Academia Collaboration

By bringing industry experts directly into the learning environment, the session effectively bridged the gap between classroom education and real-world automotive applications. Such initiatives prepare candidates to meet the evolving skill demands of the automotive and EV sectors.

The session was organized in collaboration with the Automotive Skills Development Council – India (ASDC) and ISIEINDIA, reinforcing a shared commitment to skill-based education, industry integration, and building a future-ready workforce for India’s electric mobility ecosystem.
