ISIEINDIA, Cosmo Foundation, and Jalandhar Motors Join Forces to Empower Women in the Electric Vehicle Sector

Aurangabad, India: In a significant step towards promoting gender diversity in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, ISIEINDIA, the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers, partnered with Cosmo Foundation and Jalandhar Motors to launch the “Women Empowerment Project.” This initiative aims to equip women with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue careers in the rapidly growing field of electric mobility.

The project officially commenced with an opening ceremony held at ISIEINDIA’s Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicle. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Rajesh Gupta, General Manager at Cosmo, and Dr. Ulhas Shinde, Principal of CSMSS, Aurangabad.

The program’s highlight is the “Auto-Electrical and EV Assembly Technician Training,” which has already welcomed its first batch of participants. This comprehensive training program focuses on equipping women with the technical skills and knowledge required to excel in various roles within the EV sector, including auto-electrical repairs, EV assembly, and maintenance.

Mr. Rajesh Gupta, representing Cosmo Foundation, echoed Mr. Gupta’s sentiments, adding, “We strongly believe in promoting equal opportunities for women in all sectors, and the EV industry is no exception. This project aligns perfectly with our vision of empowering women and fostering their professional growth.”

The collaboration between ISIEINDIA, Cosmo Foundation, and Jalandhar Motors represents a commendable effort to bridge the gender gap in the EV sector. By offering skill development opportunities specifically targeted towards women, the project paves the way for a more inclusive and diverse workforce within the rapidly evolving electric mobility landscape.

This initiative not only empowers women by equipping them with valuable skills but also benefits the EV industry by creating a pool of qualified and dedicated professionals. It serves as a positive example for other organizations to follow, paving the way for a more equitable and sustainable future for the electric vehicle sector
