ISIEINDIA and Literacy India Partner to Launch Vocational Training Programs

October 17, 2024ISIEINDIA has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Literacy India, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged children and women. The partnership aims to deliver vocational training programs at ISIEINDIA’s Centres of Excellence (COEs) to equip participants with industry-relevant skills in the growing electric vehicle (EV) sector.

Under the agreement, three key training programs will be offered:

  • Electric Vehicle Service Technician for 2/3 Wheelers
  • Electric Vehicle Assembly Technician for 2/3 Wheelers
  • Electric Vehicle Station Charging Technician

These courses will provide technical expertise to individuals from marginalized communities, enabling them to secure employment and become self-sufficient. By focusing on high-demand areas in the electric mobility space, the programs will create pathways for participants to contribute to the evolving automotive industry.

The collaboration is a step toward bridging the skill gap while promoting sustainable technologies. Both ISIEINDIA and Literacy India are committed to ensuring that the training meets industry standards and opens doors for economic independence, particularly for women and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This initiative not only aligns with the government’s push towards green mobility but also reinforces the social responsibility of uplifting underserved sections of society through skill-based education. By preparing a new workforce for the electric vehicle revolution, ISIEINDIA and Literacy India are driving both technological and social progress.

The programs are expected to start soon, with enrolment open for individuals eager to build a future in the electric vehicle industry.
