Dr. Brijesh Singh is a dynamic and resourceful researcher and academician with over 12 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering (04 years in research and 08 years as an academician). He did his doctorate in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from IIT (BHU) Varanasi in the year 2014. Presently, He is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Dr. Singh’s group conducts research in the Power market operational study and security analysis, Smart grid operations, and Solar (PV) system integration, and interdisciplinary area of conservation of electrical energy. The research spans a wide range of areas ranging from studying fundamental concepts in power systems to developing new technologies for next-generation requirements (such as power market dynamics, HVDC, power electronics systems operations, and utilization of solar energy). His research contributions in the power engineering community and have resulted in over 35 peer-reviewed publications to date. He is also a member of various professions and societies.

The talk will address some comprehensive facts of AI applications in renewable energy forecasting, supply and demand matching, performance analysis, operation and control, optimizing renewable energy production, AI for power producers and consumers etc.
