CHRISNELSA (Pty) Ltd and ISIEINDIA Partner to Establish an Electric Vehicle Skilling Ecosystem in South Africa

In a significant move to drive sustainable mobility and workforce development, CHRISNELSA (Pty) Ltd, South Africa, and ISIEINDIA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to create a robust ecosystem for Electric Vehicle (EV) skilling in South Africa.

The collaboration focuses on empowering the workforce with specialized training in EV and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) technologies, developing skilled technicians for EV charging infrastructure, and upskilling mechanics for repair and maintenance. Additionally, this partnership will establish internationally accredited training centers with state-of-the-art resources, fostering global standards in EV skilling.

Aiming to train 50,000 individuals across Africa by 2030, the initiative seeks to open new employment avenues while contributing to the growth of the electric mobility sector. The collaboration also highlights the exchange of technical knowledge between South Africa and India, paving the way for innovation and excellence in EV training.
