Assam Kaziranga University Collaborates with ISIEINDIA to Establish a Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicles

Assam Kaziranga University has partnered with the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIEINDIA) to set up a state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicles on its campus. This strategic initiative aims to transform the northeastern region into a hub for electric mobility education, research, and innovation.

The Centre will feature advanced facilities, including EV powertrain labs, battery testing and prototyping equipment, and a charging infrastructure lab. It will offer specialized vocational training programs and industry-certified courses to prepare students and professionals for thriving careers in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle sector.

This collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, foster entrepreneurship, and promote sustainable transportation solutions. With a focus on skill development and technological innovation, the Centre will play a pivotal role in advancing India’s vision for green mobility and reducing carbon emissions.
